Scripture References: Romans 8:29

The apostle Paul is telling us in the above scripture there will be a certain amount of people that will be conformed to the image of Christ. These people will of course be those that will be the sons and daughters of God having been born of God. In the world today there are multiplied millions of people claiming to be born of God, but how many of these people have been conformed to the image of Christ, as Paul refers to in the above scripture of Romans 8:29? To know who has been conformed to the image of Christ and who has not, then all we need to understand is what the image of Christ is. To be conformed to the image of Christ simply means that those who will be conformed to his image, they will be like him in his character and nature possessing the same spiritual traits as he does, which is to be holy, righteous, godly, and sinless. Does not I John 3:7 tell us these words saying, "Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous." To further prove this look at what Jesus said in Matthew 19:24-25 that says, "The disciple is not above his master, nor the servant above his lord. It is enough for the disciple that he be as his master, and the servant as his lord. If they have called the master of the house Beelzebub, how much more shall they call them of his household?"

Notice carefully that Jesus said that the disciple is not above his master, but that it is enough that the disciple be as his master. A disciple is a person that follows Christ and every disciple that follows Christ is to be like Christ who is their master. For the disciple to be like Christ means that the disciple will be like Christ who was holy, righteous, sinless and perfect. Jesus said again these words in Luke 6:40 saying, "The disciple is not above his master: but every one that is perfect shall be as his master." So to be conformed to the image of Christ as Paul reveals in Romans 8:29, it means that every disciple or follower of Christ will be just like Christ in so far as his holiness, his righteousness, and his sinless perfection is concerned. Why do the greatest majority of people have a problem with the teaching of sinless perfection? Does Gods word teach this subject or does it not? If you believe that Jesus lived a perfect sinless life, then why do you have a problem with this teaching today? It will be the perfect and sinless life of Christ that will be manifested in and through those who has truly been born of God. Did not the apostle Paul himself tell us that it was Christ that lived in him as Galations 2:20 states saying, "I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me." In Colossians 3:3-4 we find Paul saying, "For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God. When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory."

Is this the spiritual condition that we find the many millions of people in today that claim to be born of God throughout the realm of the confessing Christian world? Are they like Christ who did no sin that lived righteously, godly, and holy? It was the apostle Peter that said these words in I Peter 1:21-22 that says, "For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps: Who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth." Did you hear Peter say that we are to follow in the steps of Christ who did no sin? Why then are the many millions of confessing Christians today still living in and committing sin against God? The reason is obvious; they are not where they think they are, which is in Christ. They are not in Christ and further more Christ is not in them. Any person without the Spirit of Christ is none of his, as Paul tells us in Romans 8:9. Christ is our example and we are to be conformed to his image, but Satan has counterfeited this image causing millions to believe that God does not see their sinful condition, but can only see Christ in them and not their sins. They have been told that the blood of Christ covers their sins and God cannot see what his blood covers. In essence they are saying that the blood of Christ blinds Gods eyes and he cannot see their filthy sins that they continue to commit against him.. It's truly amazing how they think that their continuing to sin against God has no bearing with their fellowship or their relationship with God. Many believe they will always have a relationship with God, but can lose their fellowship with him. What they are saying is that they will never lose their relationship with God, because they believe they have been born of God as his son or daughter and cannot lose that relationship no matter if they continue on in sin and rebellion against him.
This doctrine came straight from the pits of hell itself and millions are believing it. These deceived people pay no attention to what Gods word has to say regarding those who has truly been born of God. It was the apostle John that tells us these very words stated in I John 3:9 that says, "Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God." These deceived people that continue to believe they have been born of God and still live in and commit sin will blaspheme what John said and think nothing of it. They could not care less as to what Gods word reveals and go right on their stiff necked way and still confess to be a son or a daughter of God. Gods word teaches very clear that a born again child of God does not and further more cannot commit sin, and the reason for this is simply because it's the very life of Christ that will be manifested in and through their mortal body. Is there any wonder why Jesus said that a night will come when no man can work? Jesus said this as stated in John 9:4 that says, "I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work." We are definitely living in the night that Jesus spoke of. We live in a very religious world that claims to be in right standing with God and nobody or anything can persuade them otherwise. Man once again has corrupted his way as they did in Noah's day and Jesus made it clear that as it was in those days it will be the same conditions that will exist just prior to his coming. In Matthew 24:37 we find Jesus saying, "But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be." Once again all flesh will corrupt his way upon the entire earth as it was in Noah's day. Noah was a preacher of righteousness, but there was not one other person that entered in the ark other than Noah and his family. During all that time that Noah was warning the people of the flood that was to come, not one of the people believed him and so therefore all were destroyed in the flood. The same is happening in the day and age we live in. Look at all the teachings we find in the world today on things concerning Gods word, but yet we see that sin once again has took it's toll on mankind corrupting themselves, but yet we hear millions say they are prepared for Christ's return. All I can say to you that read this article is what Peter said as stated in Acts 2:40 that says, "And with many other words did he testify and exhort, saying, Save yourselves from this untoward generation." The only way you can save yourself as Peter said is to do what Paul says in I Timothy 4:16 that says, "Take heed unto thyself, and unto the doctrine; continue in them: for in doing this thou shalt both save thyself, and them that hear thee." Learn to place your trust and confidence in Gods word and not what man may have to say about it. He that has an ear to hear, let him hear what the Spirit is saying to the churches...Amen
