Reference: Proverbs 14:12
Did you know my friend that you can actuallythink that whatever you are doing or thinking may be right when actually it maybe totally wrong? Now to seem something to be right simply means to mentallythink in your mind that you are right in what you are doing. To think somethingis right when actually it may be wrong is done by a person using their logicalthinking without making one hundred percent sure that they know they are in theright.
If we were to examine closely each andevery religious movement in the land today it would be an established fact thateach one would be proclaiming a way which is thought to be the true way ofsalvation. The Baptist organizations are proclaiming a way that they have comeup with thinkig that it is the way revealed to them by the Holy Spirit. Thesame is true with each and every other organization. They have all been led to believe that theHoly Spirit has revealed to them the way that they are believing and teaching,but they are being blinded from the fact that the way they are teaching is theway that only seems to be right.
Now of course none of them will accept thefact that they are on the way that seems right, but there is a positive way ofknowing who is on the right way and this proof is found written in the word ofGod. There are very few people in the religious world today who are willing tolet the word of God be true and accept it just exactly the way it is written.There are many scriptures that thousands of people will not accept and thereason for this is simply because they would disprove the doctrine they holdand show them just exactly where they stand as Almighty God sees them. Now ifwe were to go into any denominational church in our nation today and try totell them that the way that they are teaching is not the true way of salvationas the word of God reveals it, I'll guarantee that none of them will acceptthat fact.
The reason they would not accept it issimply because what they are believing can be backed up by the Bible. You can'ttell a Baptist that what they believe is not scriptural simply because it isscriptural. It most certainly can be very scriptural, but this would not meannor prove that what they believe is the true revealed way that the Holy Spiritcan only reveal to a person.
What most people are failing to consideris the fact that there can be hundreds of different ways that can be taughtthat absolutely does not correspond to the true way revealed in the holyscriptures. You can't tell a Pentecostal that what they are believing is notscriptural. It may be scriptural, but what they are not taking intoconsideration is the fact that what they are believing is not the true revealedway that only the Holy Spirit can reveal to a person.
Now the Pentecostals teach that speakingin tongues is the initial evidence that a person has been baptized with theHoly Ghost, but I will absolutely guarantee that they can't produce one singleverse of scripture saying this. The word of God nowhere says in a directstatement that tongues are the initial evidence that one has been baptized withthe Holy Ghost, but yet the Pentecostal organization of today will teach thatthey are.
Now on the other hand all othernon-Pentecostal believers will teach and say that tongues are not the evidenceof the Holy Ghost baptism, but they also cannot come up with one single verseof scripture directly saying this. Did you know my friend that you can make thescriptures prove just about anything you want to believe? Now if this is not atrue statement to make why then do we have so many beliefs in the world today?Oh yes, my friend, you can make the scriptures say what you want, but if theHoly Spirit has not revealed the true way to you then you are void of the truthand you are not what you think you are.
If you will check each and everyorganization in the world today you will find out that each of them was startedby what one single person began to teach thinking that what they believe wasthe true way of salvation. What all the Baptist organizations teach today wasstarted by a person many years ago and has been carried down through the agesup until today. Many of these different organizations has split into manydifferent groups with each of them teaching a little different from the other.This was because they would not accept certain teachings and so they would cutthemselves off and start their own organization.
The same is true with all the rest of thedenominational groups. They all split not being able to all speak the samething. The apostle Paul tells us that Christ is not divided, but to look at allthe different teachings in the land today will easily reveal the fact that theycan't be of God because they most certainly are divided in many aspects ofdoctrine.
Just because you can read what the Biblesays this does not prove that you know what it means. Anybody can read theBible, but friend it takes the Holy Spirit to reveal the true way of salvationto your heart and mind. The one true way that the Holy Spirit must reveal to aperson is a perfect way as so stated in Psalms18:30. God's way is perfect simplybecause God himself is perfect.
A perfect way will perfect all those whoreceives and believes it. Take a good look at all the ways being proclaimedtoday and see if you can find one that teaches the truth about perfection. Theone true way that the Bible reveals is the perfecting of Christ in thebeliever, but I'll guarantee you won't find very many who will teach the truthconcerning the sin question in the life of the believer. If you attempt to tellthe average confessing Christian today just exactly what the word of Godteaches about sin in the life of the believer they will not accept it as beingthe truth as the Bible reveals it.
God's way, which is perfect, willcompletely transform the life of the believer from a life of sin to a life ofrighteousness causing the believer to live a complete victorious life over thepower of sin. This truth the religious world will not accept simply becausethey are still prone to sin's power not being able to completely cease frompartaking of it in many instances of their lives. They can't cease from sinsimply because they are void of the truth and to tell them so will cause themto seperate you from their company and their organization.
Jesus said that many would be on the waythat is wide and broad leading to destruction. These ways are ways that areeasy and is no sacrifice to the flesh. The way that leads to life eternal isstrait and narrow and few will be found on this way. This is because the straitway is too much of a sacrifice to make, but Jesus plainly tells us that thosewho follow him must deny themsleves and take up their cross and follow him.
To follow Jesus is walking in a way wherethe flesh must be crucified. We are told that Christ was without sin and noguile was found in his mouth. Walking in the footsteps of Jesus can be donebecause he is the one that is doing it for us. Christ is the life of every trueborn again child of God. Paul makes this very plain in what he says in Galatians 2:20 wherehe said that he was crucified with Christ, but nevertheless he lived becauseChrist was the one living his life within him.
Friend if the way you are on is not astrait and narrow way free from sin, then you are on the broad way that willlead to death and destruction just like God's holy word tells us.......
